Episode Overview

In November 1932, notorious gangster Joe Palakopolous is taking dangerous risks after ordering the assassination of Danny Kugan, Frank Nitti's top supplier of Canadian whiskey. Nitti is furious, as Kugan was the sole source for the coveted Canadian Gold. He scoffs at the inferior substitutes, remarking that the fake whiskey is so terrible it “peels off the labels from the inside.” Meanwhile, Eliot Ness and his team delve into Kugan's murder, seeking to uncover who will step in to fill the void left by the slain supplier.
