Episode Overview

In October 1932, Chicago is in turmoil as rival gang leaders seize parts of Capone's empire while he’s imprisoned. One such leader, Frankie Gruder, heads a crew that lays the groundwork for what will become known as Murder, Inc. Gruder aims to dominate all Canadian trade. During a visit to a warehouse, Gruder shoots a longshoreman, prompting Ness and his team to arrive and engage in a fierce gunfight. Amid the chaos, Gruder manages to slip away, evading capture once again.
