The Untouchables (1959)
S04E21 The Man in the Cooler
Episode Overview
In January 1932, Al Remp, a small-time bootlegger, finds himself serving a 3-5 year sentence in prison. After completing three years, he’s hoping for parole next week, but it doesn't look promising. As the guards send him to solitary confinement, he receives an unexpected visitor: Eliot Ness. Remp is dismissive, stating, “I got nothing to say to you.” However, Ness offers him a deal: if he agrees to help take down the notorious bootlegger "Fat" Augie Strom, Remp could secure his release. Otherwise, he faces an additional two years behind bars.
