Episode Overview
On July 4, 1930, Arlington Park is buzzing with 40,000 horse racing enthusiasts. Ness and his team are closely monitoring Arnold "Spats" Vincent, waiting for him to acquire a crucial piece of paper—a list of corrupt officials willing to align with the crime syndicate. Suddenly, two thugs, one tall and one short, approach Spats. The taller thug leans in to whisper something to him, then unexpectedly plunges a knife into Spats.
