While traversing the jungle, Roxton narrowly avoids a deadly ambush, only to discover he has evaded death one too many times. The Grim Reaper, taking the form of an alluring enchantress, is determined to claim his soul. Dragged into her grim realm—a barren, desolate landscape—Roxton faces a series of perilous trials if he wishes to escape. To heighten the tension, Death threatens the lives of his companions. As the rules shift and treachery unfolds, Roxton finds himself in an uphill battle. Death taunts him, urging him to forsake his friends for his own survival. One by one, he suffers defeats, ultimately losing Challenger, Veronica, and his cherished Marguerite to the depths of Death's infernal domain.
