Episode Overview

Chef Anne Burrell and her new mentor, Tiffany Derry, welcome a group of pampered recruits to culinary boot camp. These sixteen aspiring cooks are used to takeout and food delivery, having never prepared a meal themselves. Anne and Tiffany aim to turn these inexperienced individuals into competent home cooks, but first, they need to assess their skills. The challenge begins as the recruits must recreate their favorite takeout dish, allowing the chefs to gauge their abilities. Next, they’ll attempt to replicate the chefs' classic steak and potato dinner. Those who show promise will stay, while the others will be sent home.
