Episode Overview

In a hilariously fast-paced episode, Catweazle wanders into the woods and stumbles upon an ornithologist busy capturing insect sounds. His curiosity piqued, he follows the man back to his caravan, only to be startled by the various animal noises emanating from inside, which turn out to be recordings. Meanwhile, farmhand Sam is eager to leave his job at the farm to work with the ornithologist. When Catweazle sees Sam enter the caravan, he jumps to conclusions. When Carrot arrives at Castle Saburac, Catweazle, flustered and chanting his nonsensical phrases, insists they investigate. Inside the caravan, Carrot finds Sam's shoes and, convinced that Catweazle might be right for once, calls him in. Catweazle, thrilled by the recording equipment, explores further while Sam is off digging for the ornithologist.
