Episode Overview
Title: Still Water Plot: Bill Dyer requests PC Bradley to investigate Giles Sutton, whom he suspects of manipulating the sheep market. Anticipating trouble, Sutton offers Jackie legal representation and treats her to dinner when he sees her dining with Mike. Mike becomes furious upon learning this, but Jackie defends Sutton's actions, oblivious to the strain it places on her marriage. Sutton further complicates matters by slipping a significant sum of money into Mike's jacket. Although Mike returns the cash, he faces suspension for alleged bribery. Meanwhile, Dilys Powell convinces Vernon to partner with her in bottling the spring water from her farm, leading him to approach Lord Ashfordly for potential investment.
