Episode Overview
Rosie, the wife of local criminal Terry Tinniswood, attempts to take her own life, leaving Nick and Kate to care for her children. After Rosie recovers, she reveals to Nick that her husband is incarcerated for a crime he didn't commit. As Nick investigates, he uncovers evidence supporting her story, suggesting that her husband was framed, possibly by Nick's former boss, Rowley Carsons, who abruptly retired. Despite Blaketon's warnings that Carsons left due to illness, Nick suspects a cover-up and continues digging. Eventually, Carsons admits to planting evidence in Tinniswood's truck. Meanwhile, Phil prepares for marriage to his pregnant girlfriend, only to discover she has been unfaithful with her ex, the same man who assaulted him at his stag party.
