Episode Overview
A young boy's father dreams of him becoming a professional cricketer, but the boy fails to make the local team. Maggie discovers that his poor performance is due to his inability to see the ball, as he needs glasses. The following day, the boy is found with bruises after being caught stealing, which raises Jo's concerns. However, the bruises are from playing cricket. Feeling he has disappointed his father, the boy runs away and has an accident. Meanwhile, Claude has "borrowed" one of Lord Ashfordly's prized horses for breeding. As they return it, he finds the boy lying on the road and rushes him to the hospital. Nick, who has been searching for the missing horse, realizes what has happened when he sees Claude with the horse box and demands its return within two hours to forget the whole incident.
