Episode Overview
Erol, a man Nick previously assisted during a police incident in London, arrives in the area. However, when reports of trespassing and theft surface, Blaketon quickly suspects Erol. Nick feels frustrated, believing Blaketon’s judgment stems from Erol's race, and he challenges this bias. As more evidence emerges, Nick is compelled to interrogate Erol. Erol is invited to join the Aidensfield cricket team, where he plays a pivotal role in securing a victory. Despite his success, he fears an old acquaintance is pursuing him, prompting him to flee but he soon finds himself trapped. Fortunately, Nick and Phil come to his rescue. Meanwhile, Nick's mother visits, and sensing something is off, he doubts her claims of everything being fine. Ruby introduces Jo to Nick, and they decide to give their relationship another chance.
