Heartbeat (1992)

Episode Overview

Alf finds himself facing a group of travelers who hold a vendetta against him. Determined to catch them in the act of wrongdoing, he wrestles with guilt over their previous crime that left one of his former colleagues injured. As he discreetly watches their movements and jots down notes, he’s unexpectedly spotted and captured, ending up tied up in a horse box. The thieves plan to steal a racehorse, but Alf manages a daring escape and drives off in the horse box. Though they give chase, roadblocks are in place, leading to their capture. Meanwhile, Greengrass allows some guides to camp on his property, but it quickly becomes more trouble than he anticipated.
