Old prospector Henry Shannon spins some enticing yarns that persuade Charlie Wooster to join him on a quest for a hidden gold mine. When Hawks learns of their plans, he sets off in pursuit, accompanied by Shannon's grandson, Duke. Hot on their trail are three other men who are determined to claim the gold for themselves.
