Episode Overview

Nick begins to doubt his competence in the police force after being misled in a sexual abuse investigation. This uncertainty leads to a poor decision in another case, where a woman seeks an intervention order against her ex-boyfriend. Rather than taking stronger action, Nick simply advises the man to keep his distance. When the woman is later hospitalized with a broken neck, and her estranged boyfriend is found connected to her spinal halo, Nick realizes he must find a way to take down the man while ensuring the woman’s safety.
