Episode Overview
Jo is pulled from her bed to assist Ben with a late-night burglary case. The victims are a traumatized elderly couple, with the man severely injured from a pistol whipping. One suspect escapes by car, while Jo pursues the other, chasing him through yards and over fences until he stumbles, hits his head, and is apprehended. At the station, the suspect claims to have headaches, demanding medical care. PJ and Ben suspect he's faking but must comply. With the hospital understaffed, Jo finds herself on guard duty for the night, motivated only by the overtime she’ll earn. Meanwhile, PJ and Ben intensify their search for the second suspect as the situation escalates into a homicide following the victim's death.
