On the day the new Constable, Evan "Jonesy" Jones, arrives in town, Tess has a close call with a speeding car. From the start, Jonesy's rebellious charm gets under her skin, highlighting their stark differences. Despite this, they join forces to tackle a local drag racing gang, as Tess is determined to prevent any injuries. As their investigation unfolds, they uncover connections between the gang and a case of stolen car engines. Tensions rise when a key suspect threatens Tess, but she brushes off Jonesy's concerns. When Tess's life is suddenly in danger, Jonesy rushes to save her. Will he make it in time, and can Tess accept his assistance?
