Episode Overview

In Austria, the murder of a German businessman sends shockwaves through the community. His secret lover is discovered unconscious on a ski slope, covered in blood. Clues suggest a connection to the initial homicide. Ellie, a hopeful and self-assured investigator from Berchtesgaden, teams up with Gedeon, a jaded and skeptical investigator from Salzburg. Together, they come to understand they are facing a cunning and ruthless murderer. The killer’s targets appear to represent the facelessness of contemporary society, which he believes merits retribution.
