Their investigation brings them to Sebastian Brunner, the leader of a rural cult, whose writings on the collapse of society appear to have influenced the murderer. Utilizing their connection to the cult leader, Ellie and Gedeon successfully reach out to the suspect online. Unfortunately, their progress is marred by the shocking murder of a YouTube star found dead by a lake close to Salzburg.
