Caitlin grapples with the unexpected kiss she shared with Charlie and turns to a therapist for guidance. Simultaneously, the Mayor surprises the staff with palm phones, allowing Charlie to unintentionally overhear Caitlin’s therapy session. Inspired by what he learns, Charlie attempts to make Caitlin’s fantasies come true, leading her to confront her feelings and choose between him and her boyfriend, Tom. Meanwhile, Paul makes an appearance on a provocative radio talk show, with Carter discreetly providing him with answers.
