Mina and Karen quickly learn the truth behind the saying "you get what you pay for" after purchasing a $5,000 fixer-upper. This 730-square-foot house is the tiniest they've ever owned, yet it presents enormous obstacles, such as a crumbling roof, damaged flooring, and a decaying foundation propped up only by dirt and a car jack. Determined to restore this run-down property without breaking the bank, Mina and Karen set out to enhance its value while transforming it into a comfortable living space.
