Episode Overview

Mina Starsiak and Karen E. Laine embark on the renovation of a dilapidated shotgun house in downtown Indianapolis. Despite their extensive experience with similar homes, this particular property proves to be quite a challenge due to its overwhelming stench. On demolition day, they face an unforgettable olfactory assault, while Mina's brother, Tad, gets hands-on experience with house framing and decorative tile installation. Aiming to sell the renovated property to a friend who operates a bridal boutique, they design the interior to reflect her style, even incorporating fabric from wedding dresses. However, when they discover compliance issues with building codes, they risk falling behind schedule and exceeding their budget.
