As a former realtor, Kate gathered various items from her clients to help stage the homes she sold. However, after the recent passing of her husband, she finds herself drowning in grief, compounded by the chaotic state of her home. Having grown up with a domineering father and a passive mother, Kate now faces daily fines from the city due to code violations. Determined to reclaim her life and her home, she turns to the Hoarders' crew for assistance in restoring order and finding peace amidst the turmoil.
