Andy has always dabbled in various jobs, considering himself a savvy entrepreneur in the scrap and junk reselling business. After the passing of his father in 2001, his mother, Louise, invited him to move in with her. However, the scrap metal market has taken a downturn, making it challenging for Andy to earn a living. In an attempt to stay afloat, he convinced his mother to secure a reverse mortgage on their home, but this decision has led to mounting debt from interest and fees. With a looming inspection from the mortgage company that could jeopardize their home, Andy turns to the Hoarders team for help in clearing the property and avoiding disaster.
