Episode Overview

Bruce discovers that D&D has been taken over by a group of doctors, leading to Peter firing him and promoting Amanda to president. Amanda then gives Billy a new role and instructs him to let Alison go, who has been having troubling blackouts. In a tragic turn, Bruce hangs himself in Amanda's office. Meanwhile, Matt advises Billy to help Alison by getting her into rehab. During an intervention, Alison reluctantly agrees to seek help but escapes during a gas stop, only to later admit herself to a treatment center. Sydney, enjoying Chris's lavish gifts and credit card perks, initially embraces her situation until she calls Jake for help after Chris loses Jane's money and turns violent. In Las Vegas, Michael, Jane, and Jake confront the reality of their situation, as Jane and Michael's relationship intensifies. Michael also questions Kimberly about her unexpected child while Jo fights to prove her son is still alive.
