Charles agrees to let Laura bring home a baby raccoon named Jasper. However, after a brief encounter where Jasper bites both Laura and Jack, he escapes into the wild. The family becomes anxious, worrying that Laura and Jack could have contracted rabies. Their fears linger until Jasper unexpectedly returns, proving he is perfectly healthy.
