Episode Overview

The battle between Saber and Assassin intensifies as Shirou faces off against Souichirou. Just when Shirou thinks he can hold his ground, Souichirou shatters his blades, sending him crashing down to where Rin and Sakura are waiting. It falls to Saber to defeat Assassin and reach them in time. However, she struggles against Caster, still reeling from the effects of Caster's Noble Phantasm, Rule Breaker. Out of nowhere, an unknown Servant intervenes, and Saber recognizes him as the eighth Servant in this Holy Grail War. In light of this unexpected arrival, Saber discloses to Shirou the startling truths from the last Holy Grail War.
