Episode Overview

Shirou introduces Saber to Sakura and a teacher, claiming she’s a distant relative. The teacher evaluates Saber’s ability to protect Shirou, though the results are less than impressive, leading her to permit Saber to stay with Shirou. Meanwhile, Rin chats with Archer, who questions why she doesn’t target Shirou, an easy kill. She responds that if he were to appear before her unsuspecting, she wouldn’t hesitate to eliminate him. At school, several girls have gone missing for a second day. After classes, Shirou investigates their disappearances and runs into Rin, who chastises him for wandering alone without his Servant and attacks him. Shirou escapes and locks himself in a classroom, using the only spell he knows to fortify a desk as a barrier against Rin’s assault. The chaos unfolds under the watchful eye of a mysterious figure hidden in the trees, bringing the episode to a close.
