Episode Overview
As Shirō tries to escape, Rin catches up with him and offers to spare his life in exchange for his Command Seals. When he declines, she attempts to kill him, but their confrontation is interrupted by a scream from downstairs. They discover an unconscious girl, and as Rin works to heal her, a dagger suddenly flies through the door, aimed at Rin. Shirō instinctively blocks it with his arm, injuring himself. He rushes outside to confront the female Servant, Rider, and successfully defends against her attack. Although he contemplates summoning Saber, he ultimately decides against it and opts to face Rider alone. Just as Rider seems to gain the upper hand, Rin saves Shirō. Back at Rin's home, they agree to a temporary alliance to track down Rider's Master.
