Episode Overview

Ming captures the Phantom and Jedda after their race against N'Dama, who is actually the Phantom's brother, Kurt Walker, vying for the Jewel of Zandoon. Back to his former self, Kurt secretly boards Ming's vessel and watches as Ming confines the Phantom in the Deep Freeze Chamber at Ice Station Earth. Their companion, Small Fry, a monkey rescued in Africa, cleverly disrupts the chamber's wiring, giving the Phantom a fighting chance and allowing Jedda and Kurt to navigate Ming's lair. Jedda repeatedly saves Kurt’s life until he discovers the Golden Chamber and transforms back into N'Dama, but he demands Jedda forsake the Phantom's legacy and become his apprentice before agreeing to help rescue him. Using his skull ring, the Phantom escapes, only to be shocked to see Jedda clad in the Weather Demon’s garb. N'Dama seizes the rare mineral Thalacitrate from Ming, ensuring his eternal identity
