Episode Overview
**Title: Wrath of the Abyss** Plot: Ming launches a surprise assault on an oil rig to seize a pivotal computer that manages the planet's energy grid, but the Defenders thwart his plans. However, he soon notices oceanographer Maurice Quiston, who uses a specialized helmet to connect with marine life. Ming manipulates Quiston's passion for the ocean, persuading him to ally against the environmental threats posed by industrial society. From Ice Station Earth, Quiston commands sea creatures to target oil tankers, underwater farms, and sewage systems worldwide. Meanwhile, the Phantom, an old friend of Quiston, discovers his abandoned sea platform, while Falsh, Lothar, Jedda, and Mandrake rush to protect the food farm. Quiston realizes Ming’s betrayal when his platform is destroyed, prompting him to team up with the Phantom to halt the chaos and ultimately destroy his helmet and computer within Ming's lair.
