Defenders of the Earth (1986)

Episode Overview

During an expedition in Africa, renowned explorer Andrew Huxley finds himself facing the fury of Ming the Merciless. After decimating the Bandar tribe's village, Ming abducts their Chief and forces him to guide him to the concealed Temple of Pantheria. Before the Defenders head to Africa, they place Kisa in a forcefield for her safety, leaving the key card with Kshin and instructing him firmly not to let Kisa out or give the card to anyone, especially Jedda. Ignoring these orders, Kshin gives the card to Jedda, who releases Kisa. Meanwhile, Ming arrives at the temple, retrieves the sacred tooth, and commands Kisa to attack the Defenders. Kisa wreaks chaos across Central City. As Rick prepares to shoot her, the Defenders track down Ming and, aided by Mandrake's illusions, regain control of the sacred tooth, reversing Ming's command just in time to rescue Kisa and their team.
