Episode Overview

Ming's army arrives on Grubor, deploying a freeze-ray to capture six gigantic Cave Slugs—mighty alien beings that can devour anything in their path, including metal and even laser beams. While primarily peaceful, these creatures can unleash devastating force when threatened. The Merciless One sends his first Cave Slug into a mine beneath Monitor, where Kshin and Zuffy inadvertently cross its path, requiring rescue from the Defenders. As the Slug breaks through a volcano and heads toward Central City, Ming releases the remaining five in key cities worldwide. The Defenders mistakenly attack the creature, triggering chaos until Jedda uses her telepathy to calm it. Angered by their restraint, Ming attempts to provoke the Slugs, but his forces are ultimately defeated by the creatures' retaliation. With the misunderstanding resolved, the Defenders joyfully return the Cave Slugs to Grubor.
