Defenders of the Earth (1986)

Episode Overview

While escorting Starchild, a child-like alien who has arrived on Earth, the young Defenders stumble upon two alien scouts in the woods near Monitor. The scouts attempt to eliminate Starchild, but with assistance from the elder Defenders, they are driven off, although they label Starchild as a malevolent creature and vow to return. Back at Monitor, Dynak X alerts the team about an approaching fleet of 200 alien ships, prompting Flash, Mandrake, Lothar, and the Phantom to take to the skies for answers. Meanwhile, Starchild breaks free from Monitor and wreaks havoc in Central City, pursued by the young heroes. In space, the senior Defenders consult Roarke, a reptilian alien, who reveals that Starchild was genetically engineered by the scientist Shoar Koron and possesses the power to annihilate civilizations.
