Episode Overview
At Central City High, Rick Gordon becomes friends with Carlotta Vallejo, who urgently needs his assistance. Her father, the President of Esmerelda, is under threat from Ming, who is rallying forces to overthrow him. As Ming collects blue orchid flowers to transform people into Frost People, Rick and Carlotta fly to the island to rescue her father but fall into the hands of El Jefe, the rebel leader. Meanwhile, the Defenders, alerted by Dynak X about the island's dropping temperatures, set off to investigate. After escaping, Rick and Carlotta learn that Ming is creating a massive glacier and find her father, unfortunately turned into a Frost Man. Just as they are recaptured, the Defenders arrive but walk into a trap. Fortunately, Mandrake and Lothar, disguised as Frost beings, rescue them.
