S01E52 Suspended Sabotage
Episode Overview
As Rick and L.J. experiment with Rick's latest gadget—a device that disrupts airborne signals—Ming captures Rick and implants a device on L.J. to track his thoughts. To ensure Rick's safety, Ming coerces L.J. into sabotaging Flash's spaceship just before the heroes' showdown with Ming's forces. During the ensuing battle, the team is compelled to retreat to Monitor. Ming then manipulates L.J. into leading the Defenders away to South America while he invades New York. Eventually, L.J. retrieves the wave-interference device and frees Rick. When the others realize L.J. has been compromised, he clarifies his actions and alerts them to Ming's true intentions, allowing them to thwart the Merciless One.
