Flaín seeks vengeance against the individual who disrupted the conspiracy. Aware that his grandson is the culprit, Rodrigo plans to send him away to Vivar for safety. Meanwhile, Ruy is unwilling to abandon the King to Flaín’s wrath, believing the only resolution lies in eliminating the Count of León. Just as tensions rise and conflict seems imminent, Navarre’s forces arrive at the border, formally declaring war on León.
