Episode Overview
The Salinger family rallies together to address Bailey's struggles with alcohol. Claudia reaches out to him, sharing a story about Owen tumbling down the stairs, prompting Bailey to hurry over. Upon his arrival, Charlie, Julia, Claudia, Grace, and Sarah confront him, each attempting to help him recognize his drinking issue. Bailey vehemently denies any problem and clashes with them. When Joe enters, he reveals that their father also battled alcoholism but managed to stay sober for 18 years before passing away. Bailey dismisses this, though Charlie acknowledges its truth. Despite their efforts to get him into an AA program, Bailey remains resistant. Finally, in a moment of desperation, Claudia warns him that if he doesn't seek help, he risks losing his place in the family. Heartbroken, Bailey walks away.
