As the competition heats up in Portland, the remaining four chefs are joined by Padma, Vitaly Paley, and Gregory Gourdet for a nostalgic Quickfire Challenge inspired by the Oregon Trail. For the Elimination Challenge, esteemed chef Massimo Bottura, a special guest this week, challenges the competitors to draw from his iconic parmigiano reggiano dish and creatively utilize cheddar in five distinct ways. To spark their creativity, the chefs visit the Tillamook Creamery. Guest judges Dale Talde and Ed Lee will help decide which three chefs advance to the next round.
