Episode Overview

T.C. reconnects with a former love after she experiences a robbery at the boardwalk café where she works, carried out by a thief on rollerblades. Just as their relationship reignites, she witnesses a late-night shooting involving a shadowy figure in the same café. She insists that only T.C. can keep her safe, but they soon find themselves on the run from an assassin. As inconsistencies arise, Chris grows wary of her motives and begins to investigate, much to T.C.'s frustration. She eventually confides in T.C. that the threat comes from a dangerous ex-boyfriend back east, a criminal who forced her to divulge secrets from her previous job during a diamond heist. Ultimately, T.C. is stunned to learn she is not the victim but a willing accomplice, using him to eliminate her former partner and lover.
