Episode Overview
Overwhelmed by his fears, Shinji avoids confronting Misato and Rei, fleeing once more. During his escape, he encounters Kaworu Nagisa, the new pilot for EVA-02, and they quickly form a bond. Kaworu’s warmth and sincerity offer Shinji solace amidst his turmoil. However, the extraordinary synchronization skills exhibited by Kaworu raise concerns and doubts among those around him.
