Episode Overview

Misato is frustrated with Shinji for disregarding her commands during the recent Angel confrontation. Overwhelmed by the pressures of being an EVA pilot, Shinji decides to flee. He spends several days wandering the streets of Tokyo-3, grappling with his feelings. Ultimately, he must confront a pivotal decision: to leave this new life behind or to embrace the challenges that come with it.
