Episode Overview

After the repairs are completed on EVA-00, Shinji makes an effort to connect with the mysterious Rei Ayanami, its pilot. He finds it challenging, as she remains distant, has no social connections, and her history is shrouded in secrecy. As Shinji grapples with his curiosity about Rei, the city of Tokyo-3 faces a looming threat from a formidable Angel, the floating entity known as Ramiel, which launches a devastating assault.
