Episode Overview

In a quiet hamlet in South Vietnam, an NVA officer assembles his troops to inform them about their upcoming mission to infiltrate various towns and villages in anticipation of the Tet Offensive. Meanwhile, Bravo Company is out in the field while Baker struggles with severe dysentery. As he "answers nature's call," he notices VC approaching their position, but in a panic while pulling up his pants, he accidentally traps a frog inside, causing him to scream. The commotion draws the Americans, leading to an intense firefight that results in the capture of NVA Colonel Trang. During the chaotic retreat, Goldman gets shot in both his helmet and jacket, while Anderson suffers from shrapnel injuries. Although Goldman’s gear saves him, both he and Anderson require hospitalization. Meanwhile, during interrogation, Trang mysteriously dies.
