Episode Overview

Amidst intense racial strife and violence across America, similar issues surface in Vietnam, where certain bars and areas are strictly segregated by race. Venturing into the wrong zone can lead to dire consequences. Taylor and three of his brothers face this challenge when Percell invites them to an all-white bar. A clash erupts between Tucker, one of the black soldiers, and a KKK member named Innis. Both are assigned to Bravo Company, and during a patrol, Tucker's friend is killed after Innis fails to provide necessary cover. Tensions escalate as the black soldiers grapple with the loss of their own back home while witnessing Innis raise a Confederate flag. This sparks further violence, leading to Johnson being wrongfully accused of instigating the chaos. A confrontation at the brig almost turns deadly, but ultimately, Tucker, deemed the troublemaker, is transferred out.
