Episode Overview

Anderson, Baker, and Johnson find themselves in a dire situation when their helicopter is shot down, exploding upon impact. Miraculously unharmed, they discover the pilot is dead and VC soldiers are attacking. Zeke successfully eliminates all but one of the enemy, who manages to escape. With the immediate threat gone, they begin their arduous journey back to base, pursued relentlessly by the VC, led by the vengeful Trang. They stumble upon a devastated Montagnard village, where only a dying pregnant woman remains, who passes away right after giving birth. While Anderson insists on leaving the baby behind, Johnson and Baker argue against such cruelty. Ultimately, Anderson takes responsibility for the infant, forming a deep connection. Meanwhile, Goldman searches for Zeke and the others. In the jungle, Anderson risks everything to secure milk for the baby and protect it from danger, leading to a tense standoff.
