Episode Overview
After receiving a warning about the approaching Tet Offensive, Bravo Company finds themselves unprepared when they arrive at Tan Son Nhut Base near Saigon. Zeke and Goldman run into one of their men at an opium den, where they have a tense encounter with some local thugs. Things seem manageable until Alex Devlin, a female wire service journalist, interrupts them, claiming to be following a lead. They meet Lt. McKay, a helicopter pilot assigned to transport Bravo Co. Just before a mission, Zeke reads a letter from his ex-wife, who plans to visit him in Saigon. The unit lands in a dangerous area and narrowly escapes disaster as Lt. McKay uses his helicopter's machine guns against enemy fire. Meanwhile, Alex reconnects with Jake Bridger, who shares a tale about VC blending in with the local population. McKay and Goldman begin to bicker over their mounting frustrations.
