Episode Overview

Thirty years ago, the malevolent Immortal Quenten Barnes faced execution in the electric chair, vowing to return. Now free from his long imprisonment, Barnes sets out to seek revenge on those who played a role in his death. Joe Dawson discovers his return and urges MacLeod to help capture Barnes, but Mac refuses—unless Barnes threatens him directly. When Mac's old friend Michael Moore arrives, a flashback reveals that Barnes murdered Michael's wife and harbors a deep-seated vendetta against him. This prompts Mac to take action, convincing Dawson to provide the Watchers' file on Barnes. Unfortunately, the information is sparse. As the prosecutor and priest involved in Barnes' trial are killed one by one, it becomes evident that Michael is next on the list. In a gripping finale, MacLeod faces a critical choice that will impact two distinct lives.
