Episode Overview

Pallin Wolf, a rogue Watcher who believes Immortals should be eradicated, tricks one into entering his home, where he kills him in a pitch-black, sealed room using night vision goggles. Meanwhile, Tessa is forewarned of danger by a Gypsy fortuneteller named Greta at a restaurant. When Tessa is abducted by Wolf, MacLeod seeks Greta's guidance, but her insights are limited as she typically makes a living hustling rather than providing genuine visions. Eventually, Mac discovers Wolf's hideout, confronting him in darkness. Just as defeat seems imminent, he recalls a matchbook from Greta with her phone number, using it to ignite matches and turn the tide against Wolf. Tragically, as Tessa and Richie head to their car, a young junkie demands money and, in a senseless act, shoots them both, leaving Mac to grieve.
