Episode Overview

Dwayne decides to run for student council president, bringing forward innovative ideas about scholarships and funding for student activities. Unfortunately, his peers are more drawn to his rival, who focuses solely on social gatherings. When Rev. Jesse Jackson visits the university for a talk and stays with Col. Taylor, Ron tries to sway votes by creating posters that falsely suggest Dwayne has Jackson's support. Feeling disheartened, Dwayne apologizes to Rev. Jackson and contemplates withdrawing from the race. However, Rev. Jackson motivates him to persevere, emphasizing the importance of sharing his message. Meanwhile, Jaleesa and Kim are on a quest to find the perfect gift for Freddie’s 18th birthday, but she seems to snatch up all their ideas before they can act.
