Episode Overview
As Dwayne and Whitley grapple with his recent confession, Whitley’s mother arrives for their engagement celebration. Dwayne's parents also make an appearance, leading to immediate tension between Adele and Marion. Their disagreements over the party and wedding plans escalate into a chaotic flower fight in the dorm lounge. Dwayne confides in Whitley about feeling overwhelmed and worries they’re hurrying into marriage. After a heart-to-heart with his father, who reassures him that it's normal to have doubts, the two mothers reach a fragile peace during the party. However, Whitley shocks everyone by calling off the wedding and storms out. Dwayne chases after her, declaring his love and reminding her that doubts are natural. Whitley insists she wants a lifelong commitment, asking him if he feels the same.
